Crazy april!

After my arrival from Morocco, I had a month to spend at home which was great. Right on the next day after I returned home, I took a trip to take a club fitting course which is part of my last year PGA training at Five Star Academy in Prague. I managed to pass the test even though I still have a long way to go to know these thing 100%. The Easter holiday was a golf holiday for me and my friends. We spend all days playing golf during the day followed by watching the Masters at night. It was awesome and very inspirational. On top of it, we also watched ice hockey and well done to our home team Slovan Bratislava for capturing the title after some rough matches throughout the season. The weather was typical for the moth of April, so I adjusted my whole practice schedule accordingly. One way or the other, it was all a very good preparation for Scotland where the wind, rain and some cold temperatures are the usual mix. Another great event to prepare for this was the Ski and Golf tournament in Black Stork in the Tatras. We got to ski twice and play 18 holes twice in some great company of people with the love for sports. My result in this tournament wasn`t great but I still managed to make tot the world final of Ski and Golf in Caprun in Austria. I would have loved to go, but we have a tournament on LET in Belek in Turkey in the same time. Maybe next year! The city where I live in also hosted the sport person of the year award where I managed to get a award from the mayor of the city for my last year`s win in Morocco which was exciting. At the end of the month, I spend 4 days with the kids from the national team under 16 in Skalica with Gary Alliss and two new guys Peter Wieger and Stefan Palenik. I learned some new things from Gary and I hole I helped the kids mainly with their course management what they could use in the upcoming season. Unfortunately, I lost a very close person in this time too, but luckily got to know some new close people in her life. At the end of the month, I flew to London for the players council meeting which I have just joined recently. I am excited about this because already in this meeting we managed to cover a lot of stuff which could improve the running of the tour this season already. Tomorrow, I am flying up north to Scotland for my first tournament of the season on the european ground.
